Rebellious Wellness Over 50 is a platform for my core belief that it is an act of rebellion to stand for your health in this world of Big Food, Big Pharma, and Big Medicine.

Hi, I’m Gregory Anne,
but please, call me Greg.

And yes, that’s my real name.

(I was born on Saint Gregory’s day to Catholic parents so you could say it was bestowed by the Divine, my status as a female notwithstanding.)

Rebellious Wellness Over 50 is a platform for my core belief that it is an act of rebellion to stand for your health in this world of Big Food, Big Pharma, and Big Medicine.

By nature I’m a rule breaker — and encourage my clients to be too — because (many) of the rules are made by people with financial incentives to promote them, or, they continue to live in the comfortable shade of old science despite new findings.

Like genes are not destiny.

The Rebellious approach says there is
No. One. Way. to be healthy.

And that genes are only a small part of how we age. Experts say somewhere between 20% and 30%.

I can help you find the way that will work for you–no matter how long you’ve been at it or how many ways you’ve tried.

It’s always been true,
Life Includes Cake!

“How does she work? She has never hit me head-on with confrontation – not her nature. What consistently did was show me the gap between what I said I wanted and what my actions would produce. She has a great capacity to listen with intelligence and at great depth. She spoke for my integrity until I could find my way back.”

Conventional wisdom infers that your birthdays determine how to live, that getting older means fading away, and includes disease, disability, and dreams left in drawers.

It’s easy to dismiss but not to dislodge this persisten message from our minds. And judging ourselves for being a little slower than before, sporting more wrinkles than a hairless cat, or hating the way we look in clothes is the kind of stress that can damage health and crush our spirits.

Not good, people. And, not necessary.

Like you, I can be very hard on myself about the aging thing. Somehow that motivates me to move and embrace the habits of longevity. How about you?

Some days my routine is a better example than others, because, well, chicken wings.

The right foods are central to any wellness plan. My plans include excess in moderation, never deprivation.

Food, wonderful food. We had a bad relationship for many years. We’re better now. If food, too much or too little, is your unending hill to climb, I understand how hard it can be.

My women, clients, people, are engaged in life, living on their terms. They want to do what they can to avoid an old age filled with disease, pain, and loneliness.

They, maybe you, are battling low energy, the diagnosis of a scary lifestyle disease like diabetes, live with chronic pain, or have a gnawing awareness that it’s time to get honest about some habit or beliefs.

They, we, all want to look good and feel good. (Isn’t it true that when we feel good about ourselves or are healthy the reflection in the mirror is magnificent?)

Some, too many of us, have resigned themselves to the idea that feeling like crap is par for the course.

It can be hard to dispute that a loss of energy or good health is what happens as we age we are surrounded by messages about the “inevitable” mental and physical decline that happens as we age.

There is no “inevitable” decline.

Changes yes, falling apart no. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Rebellious Wellness exists so you can arm yourself with the latest and best science has to offer us, so you have choices.

“Gregory is gifted with an ability to get right to the heart of things. She has helped me gain a better understanding of “how I work” so that I could reach my weight loss and self-care goals.”

I coach to help you use the information to formulate the best plan for you and support you in executing. Change can be a devil without the right tools and someone in your corner.

This question looms large, “Is this all there is?”

Say it with me, “Hell no!”

The one big idea I bring to my work — and guides my day to day — is…
